A luxury of calm and space in the heart of Tokyo
Spacious room 29 m2, with a bathroom and view on the garden.
LaKeyaki is a haven of peace with its 1,200 yards of garden, right next to Shinjuku, one of the capital's liveliest districts. The house belongs to a family of music lovers, Pierre Barouh, composer-songwriter, Atsuko Ushioda, his wife, and their children, who share their lives between France and Japan to discover new talents.
During the Edo period, the area belonged to one of Shogun Tokugawa’s most powerful lord. This protected area is also the house of hundred-year-old trees including that of LaKeyaki which have miraculously withstood the earthquakes and wars of the past century.
