Airport Rentals

How do pick ups and drop offs at airports work?

Due to space constraints and airport regulations, some rental branches are not situated directly at the airport next to the terminals where the flights arrive to and depart from. Nissan Rent a Car uses a shuttle bus service to transport their customers between the nearest rental branch and the airport.

For Narita and Haneda airports in particular, Nissan has introduced a special system.

Picking up your vehicle: The branches here are counters within the terminal building, please follow the signs and directions to pick up your vehicle. If traffic and car parking conditions permit, a Nissan Rent a Car employee will have brought your car to the terminal otherwise there is a shuttle bus service to take you to the local rental branch.

Dropping off your vehicle: You are not able to drop off a car to the counters in the airport terminal. You must return the car to the “Narita” branch location for Narita Airport and “Otorii Station Haneda” for Haneda Airport. From here you will then be taken to the airport, either in the car you have been using or in a shuttle bus.

The following points are therefore very important:
You allow sufficient time before the departure of your flight to complete the drop-off process.
If you are in a larger vehicle, please drop off your passengers and luggage at the terminal first and then the driver should proceed to the branch location alone.
