To sustain our strong growth and build our brand awareness in the UK, we are looking for an enthusiastic Sales Consultant, with a strong love and knowledge of Japan.
 
1. Key Tasks
As Sales Consultant your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
 
Distribution of Japan Rail Passes.
  • Helping to update internal and external systems.
  • Follow-up of customers’ enquiries requests through various communication platforms including telephone enquiries and emails.
  • Reporting.
Customer Service and Support
  • Supporting the Manager and colleagues to provide outstanding customer services.
  • Being a true brand ambassador for the company.

2. Profile
  • Educated to a degree level or equivalent.
  • Have a strong interest in Japan, with knowledge of Japan and the main tourism areas.
  • Experience within a retail/tour operator sales environment.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Our ideal candidate will be self-motivated, with a real can do attitude.
  • Able to work unsupervised and as part of a small team, to achieve shared objectives.
  • Japanese or European languages are desirable.

£17,500

40 hours a week.

As part of our development, we are looking for a “Travel Angel”, based in Kyoto, native Japanese speaker, fluent in English, under the responsibility of the Managing Director of Japan Experience.
 
1. Key Tasks
As a Travel Angel of Japan Experience, you will be in charge of the following tasks:

     - Welcome our customers arriving and departing from their house in Kyoto,
     - Clean and take care of the houses under your responsability,
     - Handle customer service requests through phone and email,
     - Manage accommodation bookings with Hotels and Ryokans,
     - Deal with administrative and accounting operations

These missions are likely to change depending on the company’s needs.
 
2. Profile
Graduated from university, you have been living abroad for several years and have a good understanding of the Western traveller's needs.
Your interpersonal skills, your listening ability, your thoroughness and your English level will let you inform, advise and guide our customers safely.
You are comfortable with computer and internet tools, and can manage operations with efficiency and seriousness.

3. Financial Offer
Your salary will be based on your skills and availability.
Full time in Kyoto, Japan.
