    The Kansai–Hiroshima Area Pass is valid for 5 consecutive days. Enjoy unlimited travel on eligible railway services operated within the valid area of JR West.

    Which trains are included in the Kansai–Hiroshima Area Pass?

    JR West lines within the Kansai and Hiroshima areas

    Sanyo Shinkansen (between Shin-Osaka and Hiroshima) in ordinary cars (reserved and non-reserved seats) as well as Mizuho and Nozomi Shinkansen.

    Limited Express trains within the valid area (ordinary cars)

    Rapid, Special Rapid, and Local JR trains

    After purchase, receive your e-voucher by email and exchange it at the station for a physical ticket.

    To travel with the Kansai–Hiroshima Area Pass, you can purchase it directly through an official sales channel.

    After your purchase

    You will receive an e-voucher by email after your order is confirmed.

    The pass offers a cost-effective alternative to purchasing multiple individual long-distance tickets.

    Important – Exchange required

    The e-voucher cannot be used directly to board trains in Japan.

    It must be exchanged for a physical rail pass.

    The exchange must be completed at a JR West ticket office located within the valid usage area.

    Present the e-voucher on your mobile device or bring a printed copy.

    You must show your passport at the time of exchange.

    Please carry your passport at all times when using the pass, as railway staff may request to see it.

    The e-voucher must be exchanged within the validity period indicated at purchase.

    You can exchange your pass at major JR West stations within the coverage area, including:

    Please contact us with your order number within one year of issuance to receive an 85% refund.

    Cancellation and modification conditions for the Kansai–Hiroshima Area Pass

    Please contact us with your order number within one year of issuance. A 15% cancellation fee applies and may be waived in case of a new voucher purchase.

    Modification of your travel plans

    To modify your booking or purchase a different regional pass, please contact our Customer Support. They will assist you in canceling your voucher and purchasing a new one.
    In case of a new purchase, the cancellation fee is waived.

    Cancellation conditions

    If you request a cancellation within one year from the issue date, you will receive a refund, subject to a 15% cancellation fee for an unused voucher.

    The voucher is non-refundable after one year from the date of issue.

    Only a voucher that has not been exchanged in Japan is eligible for a refund.
    No refund is possible once the pass has been exchanged, even if it has not been used.

    In exceptional cases, the JR West ticket office where the exchange was made may review refund requests for an exchanged pass.
