Imadegawa Station is a subway stop on the Karasuma Line of the Kyoto subway one stop north of Marutamachi Station and one stop south of Kuramaguchi Station.

Around the Station
Imadegawa is located at the north west corner of the Imperial Palace (Gosho) and is close to Doshisha University. It is also just south of Doshisha University and Shokokuji Temple and very convenient for either place. Walk east along Imadegawa Dori to get to Demachiyanagi Station for the Eiden and Keihan lines.
Hotels Close By
The Kyoto Heian Hotel, the Palace Side Hotel and Kyoto Garden Palace Hotel are all to the south on Karasuma Dori. All are just a short walk from the station.

Coin Lockers
The station also has coin lockers if you are staying nearby and need to store your luggage. There is a convenience store right at the corner here of Imadegawa and Karasuma as well. There are lines on the floor of the store marking where customers are supposed to queue.

Kyoto buses #59, #102, #201 and the #203 stop at Imadegawa.
