Fujiyoshida is located in Yamanashi Prefecture, north of Mount Fuji . This city is one of the gateways for tourism around Mount Fuji, as well as for the ascent of this sacred mountain. The influence of the great volcano is such that Fujiyoshida Station changed its name to "Fujisan", the name of Mount Fuji in Japanese, in 2011.
Arakurayama-Sengen Park
We are there on Mount Arakura, a famous spot for photographers, as much for the view of Fujisan, as in the spring for the 650 cherry trees that dot it.
