La ligne Hakodate

Avec un Japan Rail Pass, le moyen le plus rapide de se rendre à Sapporo depuis Hakodate est de prendre le Hokuto ou le Super Hokuto Limited Express sur la ligne Hakodate. Tous les trains Limited Express ont des correspondances avec le Shinkansen Hokkaido à Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto.

Hakodate, located in the south of Hokkaido, is the third-biggest city on the Hokkaido island. Known for its beautiful night view, the city is just a bridge away from Japan’s main island, Honshu. The heart of Hakodate lies in Motomachi, a neighborhood filled with little streets and foreign style buildings, such as the Russian Consulate and Orthodox Church. Near the water, old brick warehouse dating from the time Hakodate was the center of trading with the west are now inhabited by cosy restaurants and shops. If your travel guides you to Hakodate, enjoy the fresh seafood and fishes, such as kaisendon and ika-somen, and of course, go to Lucky Pierrot, the renowned local fast food of Hakodate !

Enchanting in winter, fresh in summer, this city is the destination to many of Japan’s lovers, including Japanese travelers themselves !
