    Upon your arrival, one of our assistants will welcome you and hand you all your travel documents as well as your portable Wi-Fi router. They will then accompany you to your shared shuttle, which will take you to your hotel. 

    The transfer to your accommodation is done by shared shuttle (with other travelers whose lodging is near yours), but you can choose a private taxi as an optional upgrade for more comfort and to save time.

    We recommend beginning your exploration at a relaxed pace by visiting:

    Visit Asakusa, the historic district and pilgrimage site, accessible by a cruise on the Sumida River, as well as Senso-ji, the oldest Buddhist temple in the city. 

    During this day, a sushi-making workshop is included in your tour. It is a unique opportunity to learn more about this essential element of Japanese gastronomy. During the workshop, you will prepare two emblematic types of sushi: nigiri and gunkan.

    • Room size: 3★ hotels offer good comfort but rooms are compact (12–20 m², single rooms 10–16 m²). For more space, consider the 4★ upgrade (Tokyo only).
    • Double rooms: Usually twin beds (can be joined). A double bed can be requested as a supplement.
    • Single rooms: Solo travelers must pay a single supplement, mandatory for odd-number groups. Applies to all hotels except ryokans, where shared spacious rooms can host up to 5 guests.

    • Including flights: Contact us if you wish to add flights to your booking. We can arrange direct or stopover flights, premium economy or business upgrades, and departures from other cities or abroad.
    • Travel dates: The tour dates shown correspond to your stay in Japan. You’ll arrive and depart from Tokyo (Narita or Haneda). Plan to leave Europe the day before and arrive by 6 pm to benefit from your included airport transfer. The return flight should depart no earlier than 9 am the following day. Contact us if you need help selecting flights.
    • Self-booked flights: If you purchase your own flights, please send us your flight details at least one month before departure so we can organize your airport welcome and transfer.

    • The shared shuttle departs 1.5–3 hours after your scheduled arrival and stops either at your hotel or within a short walk.
    • A Japan Experience assistant will guide you to the platform, but the transfer itself is unaccompanied. For full assistance to your hotel reception, select the “Accompanied Airport Transfer” option.
    • If your flight time changes by over 45 minutes within 72 hours of departure, the shared transfer cannot be guaranteed andyou’ll need to take a taxi at your expense and seek reimbursement from the airline.

    For a direct, private transfer, select the “Private Taxi from the Airport” option.
    Local transportations
    Your tour includes:
    • A ¥1,500 pre-charged transport card (Suica or Pasmo) for everyday travel.
    • A Hakone Free Pass, covering transport between Tokyo Shinjuku and Hakone and within the Hakone region (excluding taxis).
    • A 14-day Japan Rail Pass, valid on most JR trains, including Shinkansen routes.
    About pre-charged transport card
    These passes cover the majority of your journeys. Once the ¥1,500 balance is used or for routes not included in the Japan Rail Pass, you can easily recharge your transport card at station vending machines.

    • Airport Welcome: Conducted in English. Your airport assistant will meet you at the customs exit, holding a sign with your reservation name. They will provide your travel documents and guide you to your airport transfer (unaccompanied to Tokyo).
    • Shinjuku Night Tour: A 2-hour guided group tour starting at 7 pm. Conducted in English if the group includes multiple nationalities.
    • Gion Guided Tour: A 2-hour evening tour beginning at 7 pm, conducted in English under the same multilingual conditions.

    Please note that dinner is not included, but your guide can suggest dining options.
    Meeting information will be displayed in your travel pack.
    Other services
    • The device comes with a simple instruction booklet and a prepaid return envelope. It will remain active until the final day of your trip.
    • You can connect up to 5 devices simultaneously (such as phones, tablets, or computers).
    • One Pocket WiFi is provided for bookings of 1 to 5 travelers. For groups of 6 or more, a second device will automatically be included at no extra cost.
    About pocket wifi
    A Pocket WiFi device is included in your tour, providing unlimited high-speed internet access throughout Japan. You will receive it upon arrival at the airport.
    Tour condition
    • The prices displayed on this page may vary according to the exchange rate of the Japanese Yen.
    • Unfortunately, this tour is not accessible to people with reduced mobility.
    • Children and babies are welcome. From 3 to 11 years old, a child rate is offered. In each accommodation, a standard adult bed will be offered to them, and a standard seat will be allocated to them in transport. From 0 to 2 years old inclusive, a "baby" rate is offered. This price corresponds to the allocation of a cot in the majority of the accommodation of the chosen tour. However, we cannot guarantee a baby cot in each accommodation.
    • Pets are not allowed.
    • This itinerary is subject to change due to circumstances such as weather conditions or any other case of force majeure. Please note that due to the circumstances, any information mentioned is subject to change or modification.
    • Your travel documents will be given to you as follows:
      • Travel diary sent by email before departure, and any other electronic documents
      • Physical/paper documents (airport transfer ticket, transportation card, Japan Rail Pass voucher) and Pocket WiFi upon arrival at the airport by our airport assistant.
    • A 35% deposit is required at the time of booking to confirm your reservation. The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 35 days before the departure date.
    Peak season note
    In very rare cases, mainly in peak season, the steps might be reversed. You will be informed of this in your travel diary should it happen. We appreciate your understanding.
