Tanimachi Line Train, Osaka
Tanimachi Line: read a guide to the Tanimachi Line on the Osaka subway network from Dainichi Station in Moriguchi to Yaominami Station in Yao.
The Tanimachi Line (color-coded purple) is the second most used subway line of the Osaka city subway network after the Midosuji Line.
The Tanimachi Line runs from Dainichi Station in Moriguchi to Yaominami Station in Yao in south east Osaka.

Dainichi Station connects with the Osaka Monorail to Osaka Itami Airport and Banpaku-Kinen-Koen.
3,0 KM - 00H05 - Taishibashi Imaichi Station
Taishibashi-Imaichi Station serves both the Tanimachi and Imazatosuji Line lines.
8,5 KM - 00H14 - Tenjimbashisuji Rokuchōm Station
Tenjimbashisuji Rokuchome Station connects with the Sakaisuji Line and the Hankyu Railway Senri Line to Kita Senri.
10,3 KM - 00H18 Higashi Umeda Station
Higashi Umeda Station which connects by underground passage with Umeda Station (Osaka Station City), which has trains on the Osaka Loop Line, the JR Kyoto Line, the JR Kobe Line and the JR Takarazuka Line.

Minami Morimachi connects with the Sakaisuji subway line. The station is close to Osaka-Temmangu Station (on the JR Tozai Line), Osaka-Temmangu Shrine, the historic Japan Mint (its grounds known for their cherry blossoms in spring) and the Osaka offices of the Yomiuri Shimbun and Sumitomo Mitsui Bank. Minami Morimachi Station first opened in 1967.

Tanimachi Kyuchome Station serves both the Tanimachi and Sennichimae subway lines and connects to Osaka Uehommachi Station on the Kintetsu Osaka Line (for trains to Nagoya and Ise-Shima) and the Nara Line to Kintetsu Nara Station.

Shitennoji-mae Yuhigaoka Station is close to Shitennoji Temple, Osaka's most famous Buddhist temple and one of the oldest in the country.

Tennōji Station in Tennōji, south Osaka, with connections to the Midosuji Line, Kansai Main Line (Yamatoji Line), Osaka Loop Line, Hanwa Line, Kintetsu Minami-Osaka Line and the Hankai Uemachi Line tram.
Tennoji Station connects to Osaka Abenobashi Station inside the Abeno Kintetsu department store. From Osaka Abenobashi Station there are Kintetsu Line trains on the Minami-Osaka Line for Imagawa, Fujiidera, Domyoji, Furuichi (in Osaka Prefecture), Shakudo, Kashiharajingu-mae, Yoshino and Kawachi-Nagano in Nara Prefecture. This is also where the huge Abeno Harukas shopping tower now stands.

Tanabe Station is convenient for the large Momogaike Park.

Komagawa-Nakano Station is close to Harinakano Station and Imagawa Station on the Kintetsu Minami-Osaka Line.
28,3 KM - 00H51 - Yaominami Station
Yaominami is the southern end of the Tanimachi Line near Yao Airport, which has some charter but no scheduled flights.
The full list of the 26 stations on the Tanimachi Line is: Dainichi, Moriguchi, Taishibashi-Imaichi, Sembayashi-Omiya, Sekime-Takadono, Noe-Uchindai, Miyakojima, Tenjimbashisuji Rokuchome, Nakazakicho, Higashi-Umeda, Minami-morimachi, Temmabashi, Tanimachi Yonchome, Tanimachi Rokuchome, Tanimachi Kyuchome, Shitennoji-mae Yuhigaoka, Tennoji, Abeno, Fuminosato, Tanabe, Komagawa-Nakano, Hirano, Kire-Uriwari, Deto, Nagahara and Yaominami.
Trains on the Sakaisuji Line run from around 5am until midnight, 7 days a week with reduced services at the weekends and public holidays.
A women-only carriage (no. 3) is available on the Sakaisuji Line from the first train in the mornings to 9am on weekdays.
