You can visit the Shirakawa-go area with this pass from Takayama Nohi bus center.(Next to JR Takayama station). 

With this pass, you can visit Gassho-zukuri village, a Japanese mountain settlement in what was once considered a wild and unexplored region.

What does this Pass include?

  1. The round trip bus ticket Takayama <-> Shirakawa-go (non-reserved bus)
  2. The entrance ticket for Minka-en. 

How can I use this pass?

  1. We will send the eVoucher with QR code to your email address within 5 business days. Please check the spam box just in case.
  2. Scan or click the QR code on the voucher and you can access the E ticket page (You need the internet connection to get access to the ticket page.)
  3. Go to the Nohi bus center and show your E ticket to the driver by clicking “ Use “.
  4. In Shirakawago, you can get free entrance in Minka-en with this E ticket. Please show it by clicking “Use”.
  5. To the Takayama station, please go to Shirakawago bus center and show the ticket by clicking “use”

After clicking “Use”, the e ticket is valid for only 30 mins! We don’t accept any refund for invalid tickets.

Regularity for Nohi bus

  • The departure time of bus from Takayama Nohi bus center to Shirakawago is 8:50, 10:50, 11:50, 13:50, 14:50, 17:50 and 19:00
  • The departure time of bus from Shirakawago to Takayama is 6:43, 10:55, 13:15, 15:15, 16:15, 17:30 and 19:20.
  • No operation for the bus from Takayama at 19:00 and from Shirakawago at 19:20 on every Saturday and Sunday, Japanese National holidays and 8/13～15･12/29～1/3)

Information for Minka-En

  • The entrance time of Minka-Ken is April ～November  8:40～17:00 December ～March 9:00 ～16:00
  • Closed date: April～November: No closed day. 
  • December ～ March: Closed on Thursdays (or the day before if the day falls on a national holiday)

Terms of use

  • In the high season, if the bus is overcrowded, you have to wait for the next bus departure. This has never happened to us before, but in case you are concerned about bus congestion, please let us know in advance.
  • You can choose one day within the expiry date. 
  • You can take the buses that don’t require reservation. You cannot take reserved seats with this pass.
  • The voucher is valid for around 3 months from your purchasing date.Please check at the expiration date on the voucher.
  • This pass is valid for 1 day, you have to use both go-return buses in the same date. (For example, if you want to take a bus from Takayama to Shirakawa-go on September 1, you must take the bus to Takayama on September 1; you cannot take the bus on September 2.)
  • This pass is available to all, including Japanese nationals.

Cancellation policy

  • No refunds after the start of use.
  • Cancellation is possible before using your ticket before expiration date. You have to pay 15% of the total price as the cancellation fee.
