Aman Kyoto
Grand opening set for November 2019
After opening in central Tokyo in 2014, and then in Ise Shima National Park in 2016, it's finally Kyoto's turn! Thanks to Aman Resorts' exceptional services combined with the art of Japanese customer service, this new hotel in Kyoto promises to be an extraordinary place.
Aman Resorts in Japan
Founded in 1988, Aman Resorts International is a luxury hotel group with 34 hotels and resorts in 21 different countries. The word "aman" means "peace, security, security, shelter, protection" in Arabic, and has become the company's course of action when creating its establishments, planning new locations, deciding how it operates and its relationship with customers. The goal is to offer guests a moment of peace and serenity.
Each hotel has a small number of rooms (usually less than 55) and the number of employees is usually four employees per single guest. The rooms are usually individual private villas, pavilions or tents. They often have private pools, lounges and open-air spaces.
The first Aman hotel opened in 2014 in Tokyo. Aman's first urban retreat is located in the heart of Tokyo's financial district, Chiyoda. It offers rooms with spectacular views of the Imperial Gardens, Tokyo Skytree and Mount Fuji.
It was followed in 2016 by another hotel in Shima city, Mie prefecture. Located in Ise Shima National Park, it overlooks Ago Bay and has a natural hot spring.
