Why use our Skyliner Tokyo Airport Transfer?

  • Less than 40 minutes between Narita international airport (NRT) and Tokyo city*
  • One train every 20 minutes, from early morning to evening
  • Free Wifi, USB charger, toilet, comfortable seat and plenty of space for luggage
  • Don’t lose time taking a bus or taxi in traffic jams (65km between Narita and Tokyo city)

* Nippori and Ueno stations. Connections to JR line Yamanote from Nippori station and Tokyo metro lines Ginza and Hibiya from Ueno station.

The airport transfer via the Keisei Skyliner train directly connects NRT Airport (Terminals 1 and 2/3) and Tokyo city in 36 minutes for Nippori and 39 minutes for Ueno station.

Every Skyliner train from morning to evening stops at Narita Airport terminal 1, terminal 2/3, Nippori station and Keisei-Ueno stations.

It's an easy and affordable option to get to Tokyo after arriving at Narita Airport!

Arrival/Departure Frequency :

First trains : Departure time from Ueno station 5:40, arrival time at Narita Airport 6:24

                       Departure time from Narita Airport 7:23, arrival time at Ueno station 8:29

Last trains : Departure time from Ueno station 20:20, arrival time at Narita Airport 21:40

                       Departure time from Narita Airport at 23:00, arrival time at Ueno station 23:48

 

How can I take the Keisei Skyliner?

1. After your order, Japan Experience will send you an e-voucher with a QR code by email within 5 business days

2. Exchange your e-voucher for the physical ticket at the following locations:

① If you are using the Skyliner from Tokyo city to Narita Airport:

  • Keisei Ueno Station: Skyliner Ticket Vending Machine or Skyliner Ticket Counter
  • Nippori Station: Skyliner ticket vending machine or JR Connection Counter

② If you are using the Skyliner from Narita Airport to Tokyo city:

  • Narita Airport Station (Narita Terminal 1): Skyliner Ticket Vending Machine or Skyliner Information Counter
    *Skyliner Information Counter Opening Hours: 7:00 - 21:00
  • Airport Terminal 2 Station (Narita Terminals 2 & 3): Skyliner Ticket Vending Machines or Skyliner Information Counter
    *Skyliner Information Counter Opening hours: 7:00 - 21:00

 3. Insert your ticket in the station ticket gate, and sit in your assigned seat

Terms of use

  • This is a one way ticket. If you also require a return ticket, please buy two tickets for each person.
  • It is the same voucher and the same price no matter if it is Narita -> Tokyo or Tokyo -> Narita, and no matter the stop (Narita Terminal 1, Narita Terminal 2/3, Nippori or Ueno)
  • For 6-11 year old passengers, please buy a child ticket.
  • Children under 6 years old can ride free of charge.

Once the voucher is issued, the voucher is valid for 6 months.

This train does NOT go to Haneda Airport (HND). If you need to travel to Haneda Airport, please buy the Airport transfer Tokyo - bus

Cancelation policy

  • Orders cannot be canceled after the e-voucher has been sent
  • Tickets are non-refundable

No, Skyliner is operated by a non-JR train company so you have to buy the ticket suggested on this page.

 

Every Skyliner train from morning to evening stops at Narita Airport terminal 1, terminal 2/3, Nippori station and Keisei-Ueno stations.

From Nippori station you can connect to JR line Yamanote.

From Ueno station you can connect to Tokyo metro lines Ginza and Hibiya

 

If you want to go to Shinjuku Station or Tokyo station, please use our Airport transfer Tokyo - bus.

 

This ticket is for anybody, tourist, business person and Japanese people.

No need to show your passport for exchange.

 

Skyliner train terminus is Ueno station. Ueno station is a Shinkansen station for the Tohoku line (Utsunomiya, Sendai, Aomori, Hokkaido) and Japanese Alps line (Nagano/ Kanazawa). Other Shinkansen like the Tokaido going to Nagoya / Kyoto / Osaka are departing from Tokyo station, you can reach by changing at Nippori station for the Yamanote line, using either your Japan Rail Pass or Suica card.
