    How do I modify or cancel my Kurobe Pass ?

    Please contact us with your order number within one year of issuance to receive an 85% refund.

    Please contact us with your order number within one year of issuance. The cancellation fee is 15%. It can be waived in case of a new voucher purchase.

    Modification of your usage date

    To change the length of use of your Kurobe Pass or if you wish to buy another regional pass instead, please contact our Customer Support. They will help you to cancel your pass and to buy a new voucher. In the case of a new purchase, there is no cancellation fee.

    Cancellation Conditions

    If you wish to cancel within one year from the issue date, you will receive a refund with a cancellation fee of 15% for the unused voucher.

    The voucher can only be refunded within one year of the issue date. A refund is NOT possible if we are contacted more than one year from the issue date.

    Only a voucher, which has never been exchanged in Japan can be refunded. A refund is NOT accepted by Japan Experience for a redeemed ticket, even if not used to take a train. In exceptional cases, the JR Central ticket office where you exchanged the voucher maybe able to grant a refund for a redeemed ticket.

    To travel along the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, you can purchase the Kurobe Alpine Route Pass directly on our website.

    After your purchase

    • You will receive an e-voucher by email after your order
    • The pass is significantly more cost-effective than purchasing individual tickets for each segment of the route

    Important – Exchange required

    • The e-voucher cannot be used directly to access transportation along the Alpine Route
    • It must be exchanged or validated on site before use
    • The exchange or validation must be completed at designated points along the route
    • Present the e-voucher on your mobile device or bring a printed copy
    • You must show your passport at the time of exchange or use
    • Please carry your passport at all times, as staff may request to see it
    • The e-voucher must be exchanged within the validity period indicated at purchase
