Tokyo Game Show 2025 is set to take place from September 25 (Thursday) through September 28 (Sunday) at the expansive Makuhari Messe in Chiba, marking its 29th anniversary as one of the world’s foremost gaming expos. The first two days (September 25–26) are designated Business Days, reserved for industry professionals, press, and influencers, while General Public Days run from September 27 (9:30–17:00) through September 28 (9:30–16:30).

This edition promises to be the biggest yet: over 772 exhibitors (473 domestic and 299 international) will occupy a staggering 4,083 booths, exceeding the previous record and drawing an expected 250,000 visitors over four days. Attendees can anticipate offerings ranging from blockbuster demos by major studios, to in-depth showcases in areas such as indie games, mobile titles, AR/VR, esports, and accessibility innovations. It's for all those who are chasing the latest in technology.
A newly added "All Accessibility Area" will highlight adaptive tech like voice‑control devices and inclusive controllers, ensuring that gaming is open to everyone .
Official programs include fan-favorite initiatives like SENSE OF WONDER NIGHT, the SELECTED INDIE 80 showcase, Family Game Park, Cosplay Areas, and the Creator Lounge, providing experiences for varied visitor types—from industry professionals to families and cosplay enthusiasts
