Kawaramachi Station in Takamatsu city, Shikoku, is a major hub for Kotoden trains and buses. Kawaramachi Station in Takamatsu incorporates Flag department store.
Kawaramachi Station is a hub for the three Kotoden lines, which all pass through the station.
The Kotohira Line runs from Takamatsu Chikko Station in the center of Takamatsu city to Kotoden-Kotohira Station in Kotohira via Kawaramachi and Ritsurin Station for Ritsurin Koen.
The Nagao Line runs from Kawaramachi Station to Nagao Station in Sanuki.
The Shido Line operates from Kawaramachi Station to Kotoden-Shido Station in Sanuki and is the line to take to Yashima and Shikoku Mura.

Kawaramachi Station is built into the Flag department store, one of the tallest buildings in Takamatsu and a notable landmark of the city.
The ten-story building (with a roof garden, basement and two underground parking floors) has a variety of brand stores including Starbucks, Daiso, Lush and Maruzen and a restaurant floor at the top with Japanese and foreign food options to choose from.
Various shopping arcades (shotengai) run south to north between Kawaramachi and the area just south of Takamatsu Castle and Takamatsu Chikko Station.
