Do I need a Japan Rail Pass during the Rugby World Cup 2019 ? here is our guide.
The Japan Rail Pass gives you access to the JR network nationwide during 7 days ( or 14 or 21) and is a lot cheaper than buying individual train tickets.
Indeed, travel by rail in Japan is very practical as the railway network is very well organized and quite easy to understand.
If you plan to travel around Japan during the Rugby World Cup you will need a Japan Rail Pass.
With Tokyo or Yokohama as a base, you can organize daytrips from there and reach the other match locations by train.
