During a Shinkansen journey from Tokyo to Shin-Kobe, passengers on the right side of the train, heading west, have the opportunity to glimpse Mount Fuji. This view typically appears approximately 40 to 50 minutes after departing Tokyo, just before Shin-Fuji Station. The Tokaido Shinkansen line, inaugurated in 1964, was the world's first high-speed rail line, and the segment connecting Tokyo to Shin-Osaka, from where the connection to Shin-Kobe is made, remains one of the busiest and most efficient, symbolizing Japanese punctuality.
