How to go from Okayama to Uno ?
You can reach Naoshima by boat from Takamatsu (Shikoku) or Uno Port (Honshu). Let's study the route from Okayama with a Japan Rail Pass.
Travel with the JR Uno Line
You can reach Naoshima by boat from Takamatsu (Shikoku) or Uno Port (Honshu).
The JR Uno Line connects Okayama Station to Uno station.
Depending on the timetable, you may have to change in Chayamachi Station.
You can check your time departure and route with Hyperdia.
Once in Uno station, Uno Port, where you can catch a ferry to Naoshima, is at five minutes walk.
In Takamatsu, the port is also very near the station.

La Malle de Bois
A character train on JR Uno Line La Malle de Bois is riding once a day from Okayama to Uno.
Departure time in Okayama : 10.11am
Departure time in Uno : 3 pm
Free wifi is available aboard La Malle de bois.
Tickets (1350 yens) can be purchased one months in advance at most ticket offices in JR station
Naoshima, Teshima, Shodoshima
