Description of the house
The property is located on the second floor. There is a bedroom with two single beds that can be pushed together to make a Hollywood twin, close to a king bed size. The bathroom has a luxurious bathtub and shower, and there is a small but very functional kitchen space. Last but not least, there is a relaxing Japanese dining space with a kitchen table, and views of the surrounding shopping district.
Many of Kyoto's iconic destinations are less than 10 minutes walk: Kamogawa River, Imperial Palace, Shimogamo Shrine, which provides guests with a unique experience of Kyoto. To reach the city or the famed Gion/Higashiyama area take a short taxi ride or picturesque bike ride along the river.
DELTA STAY is for those who love art, crafted living, and community life.
DELTA’s name is inspired by one of Kyoto's most iconic landscapes, locally referred to as the Kamogawa Delta, the confluence of the Kamogawa and Takanogawa rivers. The DELTA building is located a short stroll from the river's edge in the heart of a famous shotengaï (shopping arcade), the Masugata Shotengaï.
In the surroundings, guests can try a great variety of local foods or take-out to prepare in the small kitchen of the stay. With many great dining options in the vicinity, guests will be satisfied with the choice and depth of Kyoto Food Culture. DELTA Gallery & Café on the first floor of the building offers coffee all day, with breakfast and lunch every day, except Wednesday and Thursday.
