The Kuko Line (Airport Line) is one of the three subway lines in Fukuoka. The line operates from Meinohama to Fukuokakuko (Fukuoka Airport) in Hakata Ward.

Route

The Kuko Line operates from Meinohama in Nishi Ward to Fukuokakuko (Fukuoka Airport) in Hakata Ward. The line is represented by an orange (or red) color on Fukuoka subway maps. Known officially as Line 1, the Airport Line connects with the JR Chikuhi Line for trains to Karatsu. It has stops at Hakata Station (for shinkansen links to and from Osaka, Kyoto, Tokyo, and other Honshu destinations, as well as south to Kagoshima) as well as Tenjin Station.

Kuko Line Stations

The stations on the line are as follows: K01 Meinohama, K02 Muromi, K03 Fujisaki, K04 Nishijin, K05 Tojinmachi, K06 Ohorikoen, K07 Akasaka, K08 Tenjin, K09 Nakasu-Kawabata, K10 Gion, K11 Hakata, K12 Higashi-Hie and K13 Fukuokakuko (Airport). It takes 25 minutes altogether to travel the whole line.
