We will give you a ticket. So you can use it without any exchange. Please give the ticket to the driver or to the attendant. The ticket is only good for one way. Please use another ticket for the return trip.

Kansai International Airport (KIX): with stops at Terminal 1 (International and Domestic) and Terminal 2 (Domestic low-cost).
JR Kyoto station: all the buses stop at Kyoto station South Hachijo exit.
On the way, some buses may also stop at Highway Kyotanabe.

How long is the trip between KIX airport and Kyoto?

The journey takes about 1.5 hours between JR Kyoto station <-> Kansai International Airport (KIX)

Frequency: 1 or 2 buses per hour, in both directions

The first bus from Kansai Airport Terminal 1 to Kyoto Station leaves at 6:52am, and the last bus leaves at 23:05pm.
The first bus from Kyoto Station to Kansai Airport leaves at 4:30am, and the last bus leaves at 21:10pm.

How do I get the ticket?

When ordering, enter the address where you want it to be delivered: to your home before departure or to your hotel in Japan. You will receive your ticket by post.

Terms of use

Reservations for the bus are not required (first-come-first-served basis). In case the bus is full, the next and subsequent bus will be offered in order.
Only one-way tickets are available. Please purchase 2 one-way tickets per person for a round trip.
The bus ticket is discounted for children between the ages of 6 and 11 (included). A young child between the ages of 1 and 5 will not be charged if they do not occupy a seat, otherwise the child fare applies. Children under 1 year of age can travel for free.

NOTE: There are two airports in Osaka: this bus serves the major airport in the Kansai region, KIX (Kansai International Airport). Itami Airport (ITM "Osaka Airport") is NOT served by this bus.
