What are the departure and arrival points?
The buses run between:
- Kansai International Airport (KIX): with stops at Terminal 1 (International and Domestic) and Terminal 2 (Domestic low-cost).
- JR Kyoto station: all the buses stop at Kyoto station South Hachijo exit.
- On the way, some buses may also stop at Highway Kyotanabe.
How long is the trip between KIX airport and Kyoto?
Time:
- The journey takes about 1.5 hours between JR Kyoto station <-> Kansai International Airport (KIX)
Frequency: 1 or 2 buses per hour, in both directions
- The first bus from Kansai Airport Terminal 1 to Kyoto Station leaves at 6:52am, and the last bus leaves at 23:05pm.
- The first bus from Kyoto Station to Kansai Airport leaves at 4:30am, and the last bus leaves at 21:10pm.
How do I get the ticket?
When ordering, enter the address where you want it to be delivered: to your home before departure or to your hotel in Japan. You will receive your ticket by post.
Terms of use
- Reservations for the bus are not required (first-come-first-served basis). In case the bus is full, the next and subsequent bus will be offered in order.
- Only one-way tickets are available. Please purchase 2 one-way tickets per person for a round trip.
- The bus ticket is discounted for children between the ages of 6 and 11 (included). A young child between the ages of 1 and 5 will not be charged if they do not occupy a seat, otherwise the child fare applies. Children under 1 year of age can travel for free.
NOTE: There are two airports in Osaka: this bus serves the major airport in the Kansai region, KIX (Kansai International Airport). Itami Airport (ITM "Osaka Airport") is NOT served by this bus.
