The Shinkansen journey between Hakata and Tokyo is one of Japan's longest high-speed rail links. It covers a distance of over 1,170 kilometers (approximately 727 miles), comparable to traversing France from north to south. Approximately two hours after departing Hakata, looking to the right side of the train after passing Shin-Osaka and Nagoya, travelers can often catch a glimpse of Mount Fuji on a clear day, offering a unique perspective of the iconic mountain from the train.
