How to go from Hakodate to Sapporo ?

The Hakodate Line
With a Japan Rail Pass, the quickest way to Sapporo from Hakodate is to take the Hokuto or the Super Hokuto Limited Express on the Hakodate Line. All the Limited Express trains have connections with the Hokkaido shinkansen in Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto.
Travel in the heart of Hokkaido
With a Japan Rail Pass, the quickest way to Sapporo station from Hakodate is to take the Hokuto or the Super Hokuto Limited Express on the Hakodate Line.
If you visit Hokkaido in winter, a direct train operates once a day via Niseko, the famous ski spot, and Otaru.
All the Limited Express trains have connections with the Hokkaido shinkansen in Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto.

Sapporo International Communication Plaza

Botanic Garden
Opened in 1886. 32 acres of garden containing more than 4 000 varieties of plants gathered from across Hokkaido. Within the garden is Japan’s oldest natural science museum. Opposite the garden is the Ainu Museum.

Odori Park
Stretches for 1.5 km through the center of the city. The park is transformed into a giant beer garden for the Sapporo Beer Festival in July and August. It also hosts the annual Sapporo Snow Festival in early February.
