Bravo à notre travel Agent William et à notre guide Jocelyn pour leur accueil et connaissance sur le Japon !

It's really honored to be the first guest of this house! The location, the traditional Japanese decoration is really really excellent! The staff are all very friendly and even recommend and helped me book a nice Japanese seafood restaurant. Our kids had a really nice trip in Kyoto.

The house itself is even better in real life. The feeling of space, the elegance of the interior design and the modern amenities makes for a unique accommodation. The beautiful interior garden is the centerpiece of the house and you can be appreciated it from almost any room. I can only imagine how the Japanese maple tree will look in spring or the fall ! The location is hard to beat, in one of Kyoto's last remaining Geishas districts, slightly away from the Gion crowd and minutes from numerous restaurants on the river bank. The best part of it though is being surrounded by so many Geishas houses, you spot by the lanterns at the entrance (there is also a few living in the same cobbled street). During the day, you witness Maikos, running errands in their typical hairstyles and at dusk whisking away to different entertainment venues, in full elaborate costumes, real Kyoto Geishas. After all those years in Japan, the magic of it all still worked on me ! Kyoto is really a special place in Japan and I will never get tired of going especially if I can keep on experiencing such wonderful experiences.
