Indeed, for traditional accommodation, there are no single rooms but you will find spacious rooms for up to 5 people. In addition, the night in ryokan has some specificities. See Hakone-Mount Fuji step.

In Japan, a densely populated country where everything is smaller, the 2 ** and 3 *** hotels are of good quality but the rooms are often narrow (10 to 18m2 depending on the hotel). For more comfort, do not hesitate to contact us for an upgrade in a 4 **** hotel.

Rooms for 2 people in Western hotels have by default 2 separate single beds ("twin" room). Contact us to get a double bed at no extra cost but no guarantee of availability. Note that double bed rooms are smaller than twins.
