house Teppanyaki

A Japanese house with a modern touch, near the Philosopher's Walk

Description

The illuminated signs of Teppanyaki House are a reminder that not too long ago this was a restaurant, visited by many grilled food lovers of the neighborhood surrounding the Philosopher's Walk.

Behind the preserved white facade, the architects of Den Nen have combined the best of tradition, modernity, and history.
A long bar counter, a Japanese ofuro bath for two overlooking a miniature garden, a tatami room to sleep on futon but also a Western bedroom overlooking the living room with views of Mount Daimonji.
The best of modern Japanese creation has been sought in the choice of furniture, you'll find here a Flanel Hiyoshiya sofa, Takehei and Makoto Koizumi for R + R.

Ground floor: kitchen countertop, bathroom and toilet, small Japanese garden.

Upper level: Living room with Japanese Japanese bedding (futon x3).

Open space with a double bed (120 cm)

The area, rich in shops, supermarkets, cafes and restaurants, offers everything needed for a cozy and friendly stay.

Our opinion

A carefully restored former restaurant, Teppanyaki House keeps its charm with its countertop kitchen and beautiful spaces to relax in the large bathroom or bedrooms. The furniture choices will appeal to lovers of pure form.

Contemporary decor with a Japanese flair and the feeling of being the host in a kitchen. We really liked the house, we would come back. Greetings to the team.
