Ginkakuji House was the best place we could be during our stay in Kyoto. We loved this house for its location, size, style, gardens, equipment, care in every detail. Ginkakuji House was our home for 22 days and we will remember it forever
“We knew that this was a special house from the description and pictures, but we were not expecting it to be just about perfect! We loved the combination of traditional and modern decor, but we also really appreciated the way the layout afforded a great deal of privacy in a fairly typically dense neighborhood. The location of the house was also a plus, so close to Ginkakuji Temple as well as a lot of good places to eat local cuisine. Finally, we have to say that our liaison Clement was very helpful as well as gracious.”
