The port city of Yokohama has had a new complex dedicated to entertainment and leisure for a few days: Asobuild. This place promises its visitors of all ages unique experiences where culture, creativity and new technologies intertwine.
Multiple choice entertainment
Directly connected to Yokohama Station by the Minami passage , Asobuild welcomes its visitors in the former annex of the central post office, which has been completely renovated. Each of the six levels offers a different universe and related activities . Let's take a tour of the owner.
- Post Street (1F)
Named in reference to the former function of the building, this level is entirely dedicated to the gastronomy of Yokohama . You'll find 18 restaurants here, including some of the city's most popular brands like the Kiyoken Shaomai Bar , which makes succulent dumplings, and popular izakaya . To ensure a festive and warm atmosphere, a stage will regularly host various concerts and events.
- Ale Box (2F)
Here, the complex relies on new technologies to amuse the gallery. Several innovative and fun experiences await you: escape games with engaging scenarios; Story Hotel, an immersive puzzle game set in the cinema world; a virtual reality attraction based on Akihiro Nishino's illustrated book, Poupelle of Chimney Town.
And finally, the highlight of the show, an ultra-kawaii, interactive and somewhat crazy museum on "poo"! In a good mood and with a hell of a dose of the second degree, the Unko Museum undertakes to entertain you with multiple delirious attractions around excrement: toilets dedicated to selfies, the eruption of a volcano projecting in the air adorable multicolored droppings under the cheers of the staff… And expect to queue at the entrance! This ephemeral museum which will close its doors on July 15 is full! A piece of advice, take your precautions and book your tickets in advance.
- Monotory (3F)
On this floor, you will have to let your creativity speak! Every day, several creative workshops are held there : making candles, ceramics, leather goods, flower arrangement, embroidery, engraving… These are of course by reservation. All the equipment necessary for these different activities will also be sold on site.
- PuChu! (4F)
This indoor multi-activity playground will open next May. Families will come to have fun in a setting of space travel.
- Rooftop and basement
Installed on the roof terrace, several multi-sports grounds allow you to practice basketball and futsal .
And after sport, comfort! In the first basement, the lounge bar with sophisticated decor is the ideal place to spend a pleasant evening with friends.
