Destroyed during the Second World War, all that remained of Tokugawa's prestigious castle was the main keep. But gradually, the palace is rising from the ashes.

    9 am-4.30 pm daily with last admission at 4 pm.

    500 yen for adults; 100 yen for adults over 65; free for children through Junior High School.
  • Access

    The nearest subway stations to Nagoya Castle are Sengen-cho on the Tsurumai Line and Shiyakusho (City Hall) on the Meijo Line. Alternatively there is the Meguru Loop bus which stops outside the main entrance to Nagoya Castle.
