Around the famous Great Buddha of Kamakura (Daibutsu), located at Kotoku-in Temple, a few carefully arranged cherry trees enhance the bronze statue. When the sakura are in bloom, their petals contrast delicately with the Buddha's patina, creating a poetic atmosphere.
