Ohatsu Tenjin Flea Market お初天神蚤の市
Bargains of the sanctuary area
Souvenirs, trinkets, knick-knacks, Ohatsu Tenjin Flea Market is full of treasures. A good way to take a stroll while making some great finds.
Osaka is full of flea markets. One of the most popular and biggest is that of Tennoji with about four hundred stands. But twice a month, there is also an incredible little flea market along the paths of Ohatsu Tenjin Shrine. Thirty to forty stalls welcome locals and tourists in search of the deal of the day.
The traders are very welcoming and they offer Western and Japanese antiques. They include old games and art works. For those looking for souvenirs, Ohatsu Sanctuary Flea Market is ideal. Indeed, this flea market is as renowned for the quality of their goods as it is small.
