Despite the friendliness and the warm welcome of its locals, visitors at times can feel out of place... Although the island boasts a good bit of western influence, their well-meaning effort sometimes falls short when it comes to the preparation of western cuisines.

Beaux Raisins, however, is an exception. The products are imported from France, and the bread is baked by an expert, a French resident of Hiroshima. The restaurant offers a great selection of soups, meats, French cheeses and desserts, carefully selected wines, and a "baguette that sings", as they say in France, all served in cozy indoor setting or on a beautiful terrace, weather permitting.
