Secondhand chic
A unique store of "specialized fashion", Hanjiro seduces the young with the diversity of the clothing it offers and its reasonable prices.
More than just a clothing store, Hanjiro is part of the family of concept stores. No classic displays of clothing are here, but bathtubs filled with goldfish on the ground floor and fifty chandeliers hanging from the ceiling on the first floor. The very atmosphere of the place invites you to try on outfits, from the most extravagant to the simple, typical of modern Japanese fashion. Mirrors encircled light recall an actor's dressing rooms encourage you to adorn accessories and items of clothing.
The affordability of the items removes any remorse of impulse buying. For less than 10 000 yen ($85-75€), it will buy you a new look from head to toe. For those, tired of touring temples and shrines, Hanjiro is a nice change of pace, fun for everyone including the ones that are just tagging along!
