Tofu in all sauces. Rice, vegetables, raw vegetables, everything is good and organic. Here, for less than 1,000 yen, the buffet of vegetarian dishes is available at will .
The long room is furnished with large wooden tables, giving the restaurant a country feel. The sixty places are often all occupied by monks and families who make their canteen.
In the evening, the formula remains the same at a price of 2,100 yen.

Timetable
on the Tozai and Karasuma lines. Five minute walk from Karasuma Oike metro station. Obanzai is on Koromonotana Street. At the intersection of Oike and Karasuma avenues, go west onto Oike and take 3rd street on the right. Walk 100 yards north, a sign with a menu in English is placed on the sidewalk. -

lunch buffet at 1000 yen; 2,100 yen for dinner. -

lunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and dinner from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Closed Wednesday evening.
