Fancy sipping a glass of mulled wine in a festive atmosphere? Discover 5 Christmas markets in Tokyo with Japan Experience.
1. Roppongi Hills Christmas Market
This is one of our favorite Christmas markets. In addition to its illuminations, the Roppongi market attracts crowds for its food. German sausages, mulled wine, and stew—enjoy the delights of a European winter in the heart of the Japanese capital!

Directly inspired by traditional German markets, it features wooden chalets, a 14-metre-high Christmas pyramid and a giant tree imported from Europe. What's on the menu? Pretzels, mulled wine and grilled sausages in a setting inspired by Grimm's fairy tales. With its illuminations and street concerts, it's the ideal place to experience the magic of the Japanese holiday season! Please note: admission is subject to a fee, and it's advisable to buy tickets online to avoid queuing.
