Grove Café グローブカフェ
Dish of the Grove Café.
Cherry trees in front of the bay window Grove Café.
At the heart of a small cherry orchard, the Grove Café invites guests to escape from impetuous Osaka to drink a tea or for dinner.
A huge picture window removes the separation between the dining room and the garden. In spring, the dark wood walls and furniture emphasize the skin-pink of the petals.
Iced or hot, about twenty different teas and coffees are available à la carte. The restaurant calls its cuisine transalpine and revisits antipasti, pizza, baked fish, penne with fresh tomatoes, as well as tagliatelle.
The Japanese concern for aesthetics and presentation contributes to the appeal of the dishes. This haven of peace and refinement also hosts wedding ceremonies, if the mood takes you.
