zen Night Walk: Kamakura", a life-size relaxation project
This autumn zen Night Walk comes to Kamakura ! Inspired by art therapy, this ambitious project combines light effects and neuro-music (binaural beats) to sublimate Japan's Zen temples and soothe visitors' senses.
While the first edition attracted over 30,000 curious onlookers to Kyoto' s Kenninji temple , this year's event will take place at Kenchoji temple, Kamakura's oldest Zen temple. A golden opportunity to discover this 13th-century marvel in a whole new light.

Dotted with temples, Kamakura retains the vestiges of its former glory. Just an hour by train from Tokyo, far from the hustle and bustle of the megalopolis, the former seat of the shogunal government is lulled by the sound of the waves and the bells of Buddhist temples. As all Tokyoites will tell you, Kamakura has a very endearing charm.

Installations worthy of the greatest digital museums
Several digital works are waiting to be discovered during your nocturnal stroll. Among the most striking are..:
- The Dance of the Wind Dragon: admire the mist-covered gardens in a striking ambience, accompanied by light and sound.
- Neuro Music Zazen: inspired by zazen, sitting meditation, this interactive work takes you on an introspective journey. As you listen to the music, an electroencephalogram measures your brain waves and projects them in real time onto a screen, transforming your state of mind into a veritable work of art!
- Akira Wakita (Dragon Rain): admire the digital projections that blend with Nihonga Junsaku Koizumi's ceiling painting "Dragon in the Clouds". A bucolic fusion of artistic heritage and visual innovation.

A total of seven installations will brighten up the temple! As the event attracts large crowds, we advise you to book your tickets in advance on the official event website.
