Giant Multiplex

What city can boast having an impressive stadium, an amusement park and a spa with natural hot springs, all in the heart of the city in a single place? Tokyo of course!

Walking along the river Kamida at Suidobashi, it is impossible to ignore the imposing Tokyo Dome City. This attractive place - the Mecca of entertainment and recreation - is the combination of three distinctive points of interest.

Tokyo Dome

Opened in 1988, Tokyo Dome is the symbol of Tokyo Dome City. With a capacity of 55,000 seats, it is in this huge indoor stadium that the capital's baseball home team, Tokyo Yomiuri Giants, play.

In addition to the sixty baseball games, many other performances are held throughout the year: national and international sporting events (basketball, football, martial arts, etc.), exhibitions and concerts (The Rolling Stones and Michael Jackson performed here, to name a few).

LaQua

This is a relaxing oasis in the heart of the city. In this spa, the natural hot spring is drawn at a depth of 1700m!

Also found in  LaQua, the Tokyo Dome City Attraction, a large amusement park in the heart of the capital. It features a massive ferris wheel (Big-O) and a spectacular rollercoaster (Thunder Dolphin). In total, more than twenty attractions that will delight young and old.

The Tokyo Dome Hotel

With its numerous connections nearby, this huge hotel is a preferred destination for business trips and events customers in search of a place to spend the night near the stadium.

Note that at the west of Tokyo Dome City lies Koishikawa Korakuen Garden, a vast wooded park in which to stroll and admire the sakura (cherry blossom) or Momiji (fall foliage) depending on the season.

But Tokyo Dome City is also more than 50 cafes, bars and restaurants. You will find almost all kinds of cuisine: Japanese, Western, Chinese, "Asian fusion", etc.

There is of course a host of shops offering clothing, footwear, health & beauty, food and - most original ... baseball items!
