It's back to school at Hogwarts! A Harry Potter boutique has opened permanently in Harajuku. How do we get there? What potions are on sale? Dive into the wizarding world with Japan Experience.

Inaugurated last August by actor Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy in the franchise films), the Harry Potter boutique in Harajuku is Japan's first permanent store on the theme of the world's most famous wizard. The Japanese archipelago already enjoys a special relationship with J.K. Rowling's universe: the Studio Tour - The Making of Harry Potter in Tokyo and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at the USJ in Osaka attract large numbers of enthusiasts every year. With its 900 m² and direct access to Meiji-Jingumae station, the store will soon become an essential stop on any visit to the area.

The two-storey Harry Potter boutique will enchant fans of the saga. Much more than just a store, it features an exhibition area dedicated to the world of Harry Potter, photo spots and the Butterbeer Bar, an enigmatic bar selling all kinds of potions.

  • Second floor: the shopping floor! T-shirts, mugs and stuffed toys, you'll find items in the colors of the four Hogwarts houses (Slytherin, Gryffindor, Slytherin and Hufflepuff), as well as exclusive products, available only in the Harajuku boutique. An immersive space on the theme of the Forbidden Forest also features a recreation of the Hippogriff, a hybrid creature halfway between horse and eagle.
  • Second floor: this is the place to eat. Discover Harajuku's most magical confectionery store! Between chocogrenouilles and beans with a sometimes strange taste, let yourself be surprised. A little further on, a counter sells the perfect little wizard's kit: wands and gowns, you'll be ready for Hogwarts!
  • Butterbeer Bar: have you always dreamed of tasting Harry Potter's butterbeer? Now you can at this crazy bar. It also serves pizzas and ice creams with the same flavor - among other things.
